IMDB rating: 4.80 Plot: Owen Baker is a 12-year-old loner who has been working as a neighborhood dog-walker so he can earn the privilege of getting a dog of his own. A word of advice: Please don’t use the name Cohen. It’s a Jewish surname and honorific for those of the Rabbinic class. Naming a child Cohen is something a Jewish person would never do – think of it like naming your son Reverend.
That said, I like Graham and Sebastian. The others don’t do anything for me.

Lady Vengeance – South Korean again same director as above but not as good as either, although most people disagree and say this film is the best in the series. It’s still better than 90% of all films ( I have seen) in my opinion.

2 movies that have always stuck with me ever since I’ve seen them are:
"Mother" with Albert Brooks and Debbie Reynolds and "Something’s Gotta Give" with Diane Keaton and Jack Nicholson. This is just my opinion. I like up-lifting, light and fun movies. Also the music in both films are really good too especially in "Mother".

Funny american poets?
I am doing a high school assignment were i have to find three poets and read 5 poems for each poet i pick. i love poems with humor… i also really like the Poem highwayman by Alfred Noyes. The requirement is that the poet has to be American. I have been looking by myself for poets that i would be interested in reading, but have found none… any suggestions?
How about Ogden Nash? I think you would like Robert Frost, though his aren’t funny. Try The Pasture, The Road Not Taken, Stopping by the Woods on a Snowy Evening, The Secret Sits, and the Fog.
Dorothy Parker, and Judith Viorst are two good female poets that are funny. Viorst mostly writes for children, but they are really funny.

I always thought William Carlos Williams was kind of funny. He is famous for "The Red Wheelbarrow," or "This is Just to Say."
And one of my favorite poets is Edgar Guest. 
Oh, and if you like The Highwayman, you should try The Lady of Shallot, by Lord Alfred Tennyson (who is English, but it’s still a good read).

My Wife having trouble at Xmas?
OK, so I had a little blow up over the holidays… We were all handing out presents on Xmas Morning. Me, My Wife and my 4 year old son. Well, my son got us up early, and I had to wait atleast 1/2 hour for my wife to get up and make coffee (so it is all ready off to a bad start).
Then things are going ok, and my son opens what is supposed to be a his big present, a remote control car (a corvette because he loves corvettes)… And low and behold, it was a truck!!! so my son being a great kid is dissapointed but not saying anything…
So then I naturally yell at my wife because I told her a dozen times that kid wanted a corvette.
Then my son exclaims that it wasn’t her fault it was Santa’s… So in the heat of the moment, I tell him that it was mommy’s fault, because she bought the gifts and screwed things up thereby ruining Xmas!!!
Then my wife cops an attitude at me… But it is her fault the argument happened. If she never got the wrong gift, then there would have been no problem. Somehow, she can’t understand this! How do I make her see I am right? Help!
I always get a good smile out of these little scenario’s you make-up. Especially all the serious answers you get back.

I have a few things to say about this, maybe you are just a little too close to the situation to realize them. Number one, while I don’t have children yet, I clearly remember Christmas mornings as a child, and there was always waiting until both my parents were up and caffeinated, it’s normal for parents to make their children wait a little bit, it’s a part of life, it teaches patience, kids do get over it. Another thing is you admitted that your wife bought ALL the gifts therefore, it seems she had a lot on her plate this Christmas, so making a mistake such as buying the WRONG remote control car, isn’t completely surprising. Maybe if someone else had helped your wife with the shopping, it wouldn’t have happened. There is also a possibility that that car your son wanted was out of stock. Also again, you child is four, and I am sure he got a lot of nice gifts, even though there wasn’t exactly what he wanted under the tree doesn’t mean he will remember this Christmas ever. HOWEVER, what WILL cause him to remember this Christmas as the worst one ever, is your irrational decision to blow up on your wife IN FRONT of your son, proceed to basically tell him there is not Santa, and try to turn him against his mother. This is what he will always remember if you don’t apologize to your wife in front of your son, and to your son, and explain to him with some excuse there is a Santa. Behaving this way in front of your son, is teaching him how to treat women in his future. I am a Preschool teacher, and you would be amazed about how much my class of four year olds pick up on. They come to school with some interesting stories, and this will be one of them in your son’s class if you don’t fix it. Good Luck!

You stated your son was a great kid and didn’t say anything even though he was disappointed. (Your 4 yr old sounds a bit more mature than you). I understand your child wanted a corvette, but u showed lack of respect and maturity by the way you reacted. Question is, who wanted the corvette more? you or your son? So she bought the wrong gift. Big woop. If a 4 year old is disappointed, he says something. Four year olds do not conceal disappointment. Your son wasn’t disappointed by the truck. He liked the truck. He didn’t know the gift was supposed to be a corvette. He liked the truck.
So you flying off of the handle and telling him that mommy screwed up and ruined Christmas is ridiculous on your part. Besides, if Christmas is "ruined" because your son got a truck instead of a corvette, then he’ll never learn to deal with real adversity or challenges in life. Your words show evasion, egotism, anger, demanding-behaviour among many other frighteningly negative features. You have forgotten you’re part of a team. You married your wife, you have a larger responsibilities for your problems than you realise.
I am willing to bet you have exercised, or have come near to, physical abuse. Christmas is a stressful time, but you are not just angry at this time of year, are you?
I think your selfish actions are putting your marriage under a lot of strain. Get that chip off your shoulder. Make your apologies to your wife, and you can both start looking for some professional help together.
Your kid was right – it was a silly mistake by "santa" – now you’ve got to deal with that as well.
So, now you’ve found the uncomfortable truth – you are "having trouble at Xmas", not your wife.

Well. So there’s this guy named Tucker. And he’s shy and sweet and funny, and I liked him. Until a few days ago..when I’m beginning to like another guy named Jason. Now Jason is funny, protective, outgoing, we have like everything in common, and he’s even a poet like I am. But he’s taken with a psychopathic girlfriend who is overly jealous and flips out at him whenever I talk to him. And it’s only when I talk to him she flips out, any other girl she’s okay with. Now I was accused of calling this girl a name I didn’t a while back when we were friends, and I never called her that name. It was a pretty awful name. And she told the whole school and everyone hated me. But now this are "cool" I mean, we’re at peace now. So I thought. But last night I requested Jason on facebook, and he messaged me sayin he thought I was interesting and we talked on fb chat. He had to go later, and said again I was very interesting and that it was fun talking to me. and we got to talking and he was telling me about the fights he’s had with her, so we were on aim this morning, and he said he typed slow, so he wanted to call. and he called me this morning all worked up because his girlfriend flipped out at him for talking to me after he complimented me to her. Then she called him back last night and told her he didn’t wanna talk and hasn’t talked to her since. And I was giving him good advice, and he got into the subject about what happened a while back and why she flips out at him being paranoid she’s gonna lose him. And he said he believes I didn’t call her that, and that I’m too sweet to say something like that. Awwh (: But then I said "well with the fight you had with her, do a mental checklist of everything you have been thorugh with her, the laughs, the tears, the anger, the good times. And think to yourself if it is really worth going for." And I also said "Is there mroe than this reason you’re debating dumping her? I mean, do you like someone else?" And he said "Well..Idk. Yes, I think, but I don’t wanna tell you because..haha" And I was like "Oh you don’t have to tell me, I’m just trying to help you to see what is really behind this besides the fights" And he complimented me and I think flirted a little bit. I don’t think I like Tucker anymore..but I don’t wana hurt his feelings either. I wanna stay friends..and I really want Jason. And I think he likes me..but I’m not sure..I’m being as supportive as I can and just be there for him and make him smile. Is that enough? What do I do? Its hard to say if i guy really likes a girl, they throw mixed feelings out and get us girls all confused. So, you should keep flirting with him, and if he doesnt doesnt get the message, you need to take him somewhere where you two can be alone, no distractions. and tell him how you really feel. and if he asks you for advice, give it. he probably does like you, and doesnt want to tell you either. guys are like that, and they like it when they confuse us for some reason.

What to do in North County Coastal?
My friends and I have schedules that allow us to stay out really late and sometimes we can’t find something to do.
We range from 17 to 24 so drinking/hookah doesn’t always work.
We try to keep it low cost too, but occasionally we go to movies.
Mostly, though we end up at Denny’s an awful lot, and it’s boring to be there EVERY night
Sometimes we do bonfires at the Oceanside Harbour or star-gazing at Moonlight Beach or Calavera Hills Park. . .but it’s been cold lately, so we don’t always want to do that.
I’m just looking for places that are open late, north of Del Mar and west of Escondido, other than all the mexican restaurants!

When the rescue mission arrives, they see one soldier (Brian Van Holt) killing another and carrying a wounded comrade (Giovanni Ribisi). As the interrogation begins, the soldier refuses to talk to anyone other than another Ranger. The investigating officer (Connie Nielsen) protests, but her commanding officer (Timothy Daly) nonetheless brings in a former Ranger and current DEA agent (John Travolta) to help. The agent is currently on suspension from DEA for allegedly accepting a bribe. From this point on, the plot continues to twist and turn and offers numerous surprises that keeps the story interesting. |

Am I in love with my best friend?
Ok, my best friend is a guy, who I have known for 2 years. We are stupid together, i mean, we laugh so much, we understand each other, we are both foreigners in this country.
There is an undeniable physical attraction, even though he’s not my typical "type". We have had moments together, i mean, we have kissed and touched……but never had sex.
Nothing has happened in a while. He comes to visit me at my office sometimes and when I see him, I swear my heart literally stops for a second……I get butterflies. I know I love him deeply and i’d die if anything happened to him. He keeps me sane. I think about him a lot, all the time actually.
I don’t know if what i’m feeling is being in love, or just a deep friendship. I can’t be with him, for reasons I can’t mention. What do you think? And if it is love, how do I get over it?

You have to let him know how you feel. Because if he feels the same way then you’d have wasted a lot of time not being together.
You can talk to him about anything, you are attracted to him and you care about him. Sounds like a lot of bottled up feelings if you asked me.
Get over it only if he tells you he doesn’t feel the same way. Because if you never tell him how you feel you will never get over him. In fact, your feelings will keep growing and you’d just be punishing yourself.

that definatly sounds like love to me!, why would you want to get over those feelings? you need to sit him down and have a serious talk, come out with evrything, but before you do just tell him you dont want your relationship to change anything if he doesnt have the same feelings. You definalty dont want to miss out on a great oppertunity like this, trust me, both wowen and men want this feeling, and you got it!

I am married and I wish I had these same feelings for my wife. I believe I settled. I am not unhappy, I just don’t have this excited feeling. I did however have these feelings for a co-worker of mine once. She was beautiful, exciting and just an absolute joy to be around. I realized that those feelings I had were the signs of falling in love with someone. I had never felt that way and it was very confusing. In the end, I had to end it or it could have destroyed my marriage, family, etc… I would say that what you are experiencing is a deep feeling for him. To me that is LOVE. It can’t be explained any other way. Follow your heart. I guarantee you that he wants to expand the relationship, especially if he keeps coming around and doesn’t have anyone else that he is presently seeing.

Why does this happen with movies that have sequels?
Ok, I’ve noticed that if a movie has more than one sequel, the third movie, and any other after in that franchise tend to be pretty lame. For example, the Matrix was a good movie, the Matrix Reloaded totally rocked, but the Matrix Revolutions was boring and slow. Or take the Scary Movie franchise. Scary movie 1 & 2 were hilarious, once 3 came about they got retarded and even had lame spin offs like Date Moive and other crap like that. Why does that happen with movies with sequels? Don’t the writers get the fact that after the second movie, your script sucks!!! I will say that all of the Pirates of the Carribean movies were awesome, and even though I hate Harry Potter, the movies are pretty cool, but those are the only two franchises that I can think of where the 3rd sequel is lame.
The Matrix Revolutions was pretty good in it’s own right it was a little slow because it was trying to conclude the trilogy. Reloaded did not need to include an introduction or provide some kind of conclusion, so it was just wall to wall action. I agree the Scary Movie (Date Movie, epic Movie….. and so on) lost alot of originality after the Wayans left and became cookie cutter cheap industry garbage and stupid enough to get enough teens that might go watch. They thought casting slapstick spoof movie veterans Sheen & Nielsen would give it some credibility, but no.
